ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR MEN AT VASANTRAO NAIK MARATHWADA KRISHI
VIDYAPEETH, PARBHANI FROM 04 JANUARY 2020 TO 13 JANUARY 2020

1. Procedure for Online Registration.
(a) All candidates to log into www.joinindianarmy.nic.in check their eligibility status & create
their profile.
(b) Online Registration (submission of application) will commence from 05 November and close
on 19 December 2019.

(c) Candidates will log in after 20 December 2019 and take the printout of the admit card which they
will carry to Rally Site.

2. Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts Aurangabad, Buldana, Dhule,
Hingoli, Jalgaon, Jalna, Nanded, Nandurbar and Parbhani from 04 January 2020 to 13 January 2020 at
Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani
. Online registration is mandatory and will be
open from 05 November 2019 to 19 December 2019. Admit cards for the rally will be sent through registered
e-mail from 20 December 2019 to 02 January 2020. Candidate should reach the venue on a given date and
time as mentioned in the Admit Card. Any candidate who fails to submit the application will not be allowed
to participate in the Rally.

5. Candidates will be tested as stated below: -

(a) Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site).

(b) Physical Measurement (At Rally Site). Physical measurements will be carried out as per the
Physical standards listed at Para 3 above.
(c) Medical Test.
(i) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site.
(ii) Unfit candidates will be referred to as MH/CH/BH for specialist review. Candidates referred for
specialist review should present themselves to the nominated MH/CH/BH within 5 days of the
referral. The hospital will complete the review medical within 14 days as per policy. Candidates will
report back to ARO for the issue of Admit Card for CEE in case of declared FIT.
(d) Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
(i) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at the nominated venue under the aegis of ARO,
Aurangabad. Location, Date and time of the written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit
Cards.
(ii) Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself.
(iii) Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued after getting medically fit by
concerned specialist/specialists at MH/CH/BH.
6. Candidates are required to bring following documents/ certificates in original with two attested
photocopies with them to the rally site:-
(a) Admit card. Printed with a laser printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size color photographs developed on good
quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old computer printouts /
photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted. Photographs must be with proper hair cut and
clean shave (except Sikh candidates).

(c) Education Certificate.
(i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualification achieved by
candidate i.e Matric/ Intermediate/ Graduation etc from recognized School/ College/ Board/
University.
(ii) Provisional/ Online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the
educational institution of concerned Board/ University.
(iii) Candidates with matric certificates from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate
countersigned by BEO/DEO.
(d) Domicile Certificate. Domicile Certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate
duly mentioned the born address and permanent residential address separately. The permanent address
should cover the address of the candidate in detail i.e. Room No/House No/Building No, Gali, Mohalla,
Area (if applicable) followed by Village, Tehsil & District.
(e) Caste Certificate. Caste certificate affixed with photograph (Maharashtra State does not issue
with the photograph) of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
(f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/SDM. (if religion as
“SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in the caste certificate).
(g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School/College,
Principal/Headmaster where the candidate last studied.
(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by Village
Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within the last six months.
(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates with photograph issued by Village
Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within the last six months.
(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS/ SOEX/ SOW/ SOWW Candidates are required to produce the
following documents:-
(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by Record
The officer with Personal number, Rank and particular of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship
A certificate with office seal/stamp is endorsed.
(ii) A declaration to the effect as mentioned in the Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non-Judicial Stamp
paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st Class/Executive/ Judicial Magistrate is required to
be submitted by the candidate at the rally site. Format of affidavit attached as Appendix „A‟.
(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced. The name and date of birth of
the candidate must have been recorded in it.
(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A/B/C certificates and the Republic Day Parade certificate should have
a photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A/B/C pass certificates
will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders. No bonus marks are to
be allotted unless the certificate certificates (relationship/Sports/NCC) have been verified. An
undertaking to the effect will be obtained from the candidate. Provisional certificate is accepted only
during the notified rally duration neither earlier nor late.
(m) Sports Certificate.
(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at International Level and State at National Level
within the last two years. For a list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is
admissible attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.
(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State Level and University team or regional team
at District Level with 1st / 2nd position within the last two years. Sports certificates should be with
registration number and from govt recognized sports institutes/ bodies as under:-
(aa) All Senior/ Junior National Championship Certificates - Respective National Federation.
(ab) All-State & Distt Level Certificates - Respective State Sports Association.
(ac) All University Level Certificate - Inter-University Sports Board.
(ad) All School Level Certificate - All India School Games Federation.

(n) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper as per specimen duly
attested by notary will be submitted by the candidate. Format attached as Appendix B. Submission of
Affidavit duly filled with all relevant details is mandatory to gain entry into the Rally, without Affidavit
or incomplete Affidavit candidates WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to enter the rally.
(o) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & Aadhar Card. Single Bank Account, PAN Card and Aadhar Card
are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay & Allowances and other social benefits
schemes.
(p) Police Patil Dhakla (Police Character Certificate).
(q) Sarpanch/ Nagar Sewak Dhakla (Residence Proof).
7. Special Instructions.
(a) Any candidate who has not received admit card by 30 December 2019, may approach Army
Recruiting Office, Aurangabad for further clarification.
(b) Candidate can apply in only one category. If anyone is found registered for multiple
trade/category, he will be disqualified and will not be considered for any trade/category. Choose wisely
before applying. For online registration & online application, assistance will also be provided to
candidates at Army Recruiting Office, Aurangabad on working days from 1000 Hours to 1400 Hours.
(c) 01 October 2019 will be taken as the effective date of determining age-eligible for a candidate.
Candidates to produce the birth certificate at the time of preliminary document check.
(d) All candidates to report at Pre-marshalling area which is being organized at Vasantrao Naik
Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani.
(e) Candidates in possession of admit cards for that date will only be permitted to enter.
(f) Candidates are required to report at the Rally Site by 0001 Hours on their respective scheduled
dates. Candidates reporting after 0600 Hours without appropriate justification will not be permitted to
participate in the Rally.
(g) Personnel email ID and Mobile Number is a MUST. All Important messages will be sent to this
email ID/ Mobile Number like shortlisted/ call letter/joining instruction/result etc. Sharing of email ID and
Mobile Number is not permitted. Remember the User Name and Password for future use.
(h) Candidate must carry their AADHAR Card which will be authenticated bio metrically at the Rally
Site. Ensure AADHAR details are matching with the details mentioned in the documents and the Online
Application.
(j) Candidate‟s Name, Father‟s Name, Mother‟s Name and DOB must be entered exactly as per
Matriculation/ 10th Class Board Certificate.
(k) Candidate must enter contact details and permanent home address exactly as per Domicile/
Nativity/ Permanent Residential Certificate issued by Sub Divisional Magistrate/ District Magistrate.
(l) A Grievance Cell will be established at the rally site to redress any grievances.
(m) Recruitment is purely based on the merit list depending on available vacancies. Candidates do not
have any right to claim recruitment in the Army just for passing in the recruitment process.
(n) Candidates not in possession of requisite certificates and affidavits/ partially filled
affidavits are liable for rejection.

(o) Touts. In the past, a number of candidates have been found victims of touts, fake
documents/impersonation and in the bargain have lost their candidature. Modus
operandi/means used by the touts are as under:-
(i) Issue of fake PFT Slips/ impersonation during various stages of a rally. Conduct fake recruitment rallies.
(ii) Snatching away original certificates from candidates who have been declared fit at the initial stage and thereafter harassing them.
(iii) Taking away “ADMIT CARD” from the candidates under the plea that they will follow up
their results.
(iv) Give candidates false assurance of “ RECRUITMENT” as they claim to have links at the appropriate level, thereby winning the confidence of candidates.
 (v) Once a candidate gets through on his own efforts touts demand money in return of the original certificates.
Important Instructions
8. Administration. Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables and drinking water with them
since recruitment is a time-consuming process.
9. The entry of candidates into rally sites will be permitted only on the production of Admit Card in duplicate
generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card
will be handed over to Civil Police.
10. Recruitment into the army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay a bribe to anyone
for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. The selection process during recruitment at all stages is
computerized and transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to be beware of touts as they
cannot help them at any stage.
11. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before participating in the rally.
Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting education criteria will be disqualified.
12. Giving/ taking bribe, production of bogus/ fake certificates and indulging in unfair means is a criminal
offense and liable for punishment under the law.
13. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies before enrolment into
Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents. Even after recruitment,
the service will be terminated if candidates are found to have produced fake documents or given wrong
information at the time of recruitment irrespective of the number of years of service individuals may have
rendered.
14. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing/alteration of any type will not be accepted.
15. No compensation for Death/ Injury/ loss etc during the rally and no traveling allowance/dearness
allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally at their own risk and the
participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of the Indemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.
16. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performance-enhancing drugs is strictly
banned Candidates having been found to have used the same will be debarred from further screening.
17. Tattoo. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on an inner face of forearms i.e from inside of elbow
to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of the hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other
part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection. Tribals with tattoo
marks on the face or body as per their existing customs and traditions will be permitted on a case to
case basis. Such candidates will only be permitted on producing two certificates; the format of the same is
attached as Appendix C and Appendix D.

18. If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and dispatch, medical will be done
again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.
19. Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are dispatched for training.
20. Mobile phones are not permitted at the rally site and at the time of CEE.
21. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally sites for three to four days. Candidates should
plan to stay under their own arrangements. At the rally site, the candidates should report duly
shaved(Except Sikh Candidates) for identification at various stages of rally process failing which
candidate can be barred from participation in Recruitment Rally.
22. Candidate to report for medical examination with the proper haircut, shave (except Sikh Candidates) and
shaved Axial and groin region.
23. No use of contact lenses.
24. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exams before coming for selection
especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities, and physical measurements. All are advised to
ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the rally.
25. Negative marking would be applicable in CEE.
26. The result of the written examination will be declared on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. No
separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is the responsibility of a candidate to check his result and report to
ARO, Aurangabad for documentation.
